We are thrilled and proud to announce that our project, "Transhumances: InterRegional Education in AgroSilvoPastoralism," in which the Boğatepe Environment and Life Association is a partner with Yerküre Cooperative, has been approved for funding by the European Union's ERASMUS+ Programme.

This project aims to create an international learning community for pastoralists, cheesemakers, and their networks from Turkey, France, Italy, Albania, Spain, and Romania. At the heart of the project is the development of a digital "Learning Hub" to facilitate the transfer of know-how and experiences among participants.

Key objectives include building educational pathways for youth into sustainable pastoralist activities, emphasizing the critical role of pastoralism in climate change adaptation and mitigation, and enhancing the public reputation of this ancient culture.

We are incredibly excited to be part of this vital three-year project, which will kick off in the autumn of 2025, and we look forward to collaborating with our international partners. We will continue to share updates on our progress!
