As Boğatepe ÇEVDER, we focus on developing a solidarity-based tourism approach that prioritizes the welfare of the local community. In our village, guests are not only visitors but they become active participants in production and daily life and engage in experiences such as milking, cheese-making, and bread-baking. They share meals with local families and explore nature alongside local guides.
This approach is embodied in our collaborations with our non-profit international partner, TAMADI. Since 2009, Boğatepe has served as an exemplary model for solidarity-based tourism. Visiting groups support local production by staying in the village and establish direct contact with our biodiversity and cultural heritage.
On our page, you can explore a chronological overview of all of Boğatepe ÇEVDER’s national and international collaborations, events, training programs, and sustainable tourism practices in the village.
